    I tried the 60 day....

I really don't like the workflow aspect of the program.... and it's still an incredible resource hog...

I'm currently struggling to get a Nikon jpg style simile in Lightroom2...

Thats the one thing I like about NX is the you can start with the in camera settings as a base and adjust from there.

I mentioned this in another thread... but Nikon really has to do better in the software department... it's basically an attachment to the camera and the lack of effort in the software is disappointing..

It's definitely better than nx1..... but that is relative... sort of like asking does the new pile of dog s**t smell better than the old pile of dog s**t...lol...

just IMO of course.... there is a new cloning/selective adjustment type device... but it's half assed.... it's still very slow... and work flow is stagnant....

have you tried the lightroom2 trial yet?? Once you have it adjusted for your camera it's just a smoking tool.... easy quick workflow with selective adjusting and web uploading, print processing etc...

For 95% of my images I HATE SHOOTING RAW.... but for the other 5% I need the flexibility for heavy processing.... Lightroom makes the RAW shooting more easier for a person like me...

I really like CaptureNX2 .. it is much faster than version 1 ... i also have Lightroom 2 and find it way too complex for what *I* need to do.

For those interested in NX2 .. check out these video's http://capturenx.com/en/lessons/lessons/index.html
