Default November - post processing assignment - Image by tomorrowstreasures

I am really struggling with adjusting complexions... to me this one is a big challenge! I would like to use it to see what others do/find acceptable in the industry and as a learning tool for any one else that has these issues to deal with. So, for the November assignment, if we use this image, please be careful in recording your process and post thorough instructions....please state program used... Thanks ahead of time if you all want ot use this photo and for the learning tool that is intended.!
    Here is my suggestion:

    Ok, cool.

Firstly, what is the goal here? Are you attempting to show the guy as he is, just improved and presented better, or are you trying to radically improve the appearance and complexion, without worrying to much about being an accurate portrayal?

Or for this task, do you not mind what people do or how far they go, out of interest's sake..?

The goal would be: to clean up the acne in a way that makes the image look as natural as possible.

    heres my edit...

program used - paint shop pro 9

    slight crop
cloned out distracting lighter blurs in background on right hand side above the face
skin texture smoothed out with extensive use of the 'push' brush (i love the professional sound of that... 'push' brush... )
    selectively dodged whites of eyes
cloned the white 'star' from one eye to both
selectively sharpened eyes, teeth & lips
    added border

    approx time 15 mins.

    LOVE the photo TT. thanks!

My attempts have been clownish. So, bring em on so this gal can learn!
