    I like the light & the composition in #1. It looks messy, yet deliberate and it's not something everyone would choose.

    Thanks, WD and Bambi. I was happy with the way the first one turned out. It was rainy again (can you tell?), and I wasn't sure I'd be able to lighten it, show the detail I saw, and not fry the whites! Now I just have to see if I can do it again.

    Very nice pieces - I like the second one because of the colours.

    All very nice in their own right, but have to go with MM, in that I like #2 best with the stark contrast in colour, and the textures. Nicely done QO.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    Thanks, HBG. Haven't had any chance to find out, but those leaves look like they could do proper paper cut type damage. I'm planning on leaving that mystery unsolved.
