    Smile The flower and the bee

    I was walking down a walkway in the Community of Varsity (Calgary AB) today and spotted this little bee looking for some nectar. There are lots of flowers out in Calgary. Our summer season is short and people traditionally plant after the 24th of May.

    Right then! there should be limits on how many Calgarians we have
    Seriously though, The colors of these flowers are really nice, I find that shade of purple soothing

    I lived in Digby for three years 80-83 and just loved the outdoors in that area. The people of the south shore and the Digby’s Warf would make excellent subject material for a photographer.

    nice shots- as to Michaels comment, I was wondering if everyone in Calgary is into photography

    Is that a Bumble Bee? I used to see them a lot in NZ but they are never seen in my part of Aussie. Not sure if we have them.
