    Default From the Julia Davis Park rose garden

    Er, roses. It was a hot day (and week), and the roses are suffering a bit. Not the greatest shots, given the light, but I figure MoinMoin at least can't get enough of rose pictures.

    One more, and the statue of Julia herself. It's life size. It's also part of a group. I tried for a shot of the whole thing, but the sun was just too much with the brick and concrete surrounding it.

    they are looking a little wilted aren't they? still you dealt with the light well. the statue is cool

    Thanks, Bambi. Once the summer sun isn't in full force I'll try again for the entire setup of the statues. By that point there might be late roses that haven't been blasted into dried up petals, so I can get a few shots of those, too.
