    Default Time for Sunflowers

Hello. I thought I would post this shot. Even in germany bad weather can sometimes bring out good photo opportunities :-)

I had recently found this beautiful field of sunflowers. The last days here were quite rainy and as two days ago in the evening the clouds started to break up a bit I drove back to this field. It was great!
Before taking this shot I had plenty of different cloud formations in the sky and good light.

This is as so often these days once again the very last shot of a shooting. happens quite a lot that I'm out shooting for more than an hour but only when I'm leaving I take the special shot. Here it was the stormy sky appearing again which made the shot for me. hope you like it.

    Details:
f/11+focusstacking (foreground shot ISO200 and f/6,7 to freeze motion)
    3 exp Bracketing + DRI

Stunning and striking image. I am itching to find a sunflower field to shoot.

What a wonderful image. I was going to nominate it but JAS beat me to it.

Gorgeous shot. way moody - way cool. The juxtaposition of sunflowers and storm clouds is awesome.

    thank you!!

Always good to see if a shot from (nearly) the backyard is received so well! Shows me that I don't always have to travel to distant countries to get the shot :-)

    cheers
