    Thanks, all. I'm sure we'll all have more fall colors than we can shoot before too long. I was also tickled by the line of blue and white above the front leaf. I could have cloned it out, but I decided that I liked it. I couldn't figure out while I was processing the photo what it was - it only showed up in the photos of that leaf and I hadn't seen any webs near it. The next day I picked up the camera and started to take the lens hood off so that I could change filters. Turned out there was a strand of web from one petal to another on the hood. Mystery solved.

    A nice evocation of the undergrowth with all this contrast of coulour and light/shadows. Love it !
