Default After Earl passed by . . .

Just one of the many, many photos I took the day after hurricane Earl swiped our shores. This is the shoreline at the Louisbourg lighthouse, as you can obviously see. There's a walking trail still under construction that will guide you out all along the shoreline. It's a magical place all through the seasons and especially on windy days. Most folks go to the Fortress itself and unfortunately miss this place. They don't know what they're missing . . .

Love the shot, Don. Nature's raw beauty at work there. Great capture.

Hi "Bambi" . . . they just received a big grant to continue to improve the Trail out there. You've been out there so you know first hand how nice it is. I think the coyote warning signs keep a lot of tourists off the Trail. I have to get out beyond where the trail ends now. There's some very interesting shoreline out there by Wolfe's Cove. Now if I can keep the coyotes from chasing me . . . LOL. Last time out, there were lots of "sign" and tracks so they're there. . .

Beauty of a shot CL. The photos you take there are just awesome. Reminds me of the other side, back home out Vancouver Island way.

I would SOOOO like to visit the Left Coast. My son lives in Airdrie now, so maybe some day there might come a chance. I hear flights over the mountains are relatively cheap from Calgary.
