    Default This got my goose

Driving toward my brother in law's house by Stettler we saw some large white fowl on a slough. Thinking they could be swans we decided to take a closer look. They were not swans, but snow geese, and Canada geese. Quite a number of them. I readied my camera and approached:

    Snow Geese

They were placidly swimming about not paying any attention to me at all. But ...

    then I had to sneeze

    Needless to say:

    they took off.

    First a few ...

and then they got word out to the others on the slough ...

    Hundreds of them ...

needless to say I was quite excited ... I have not seen snow geese in the wild, and it was quite the spectacle.

What a cool set. Did you really sneeze!?

Well, it gave you quite a spectacle to photograph and they turned out really nice.

Nice set. Wow, that is a lot of geese.
As in .. if a tree falls in the forest does it make any noise ... If a Matt K walks by a slough does he make any noise. I guess the answer is yes.
