    Default Arctic barrack



    This is a picture taken in Longyearbyen, Svalbard, where i currently reside. It is an old barrack used to house miners in this remote Arctic town, but is now used as a student housing for the University Centre in Svalbard. You can see some northern lights (aurora borealis) also.

    Now thats a scene that says "COLD" I bet that snow just crunches when you walk on it! I like the light and detail on the peaks.

    That is beautiful Rabs. Love the simplicity of the scene, yet so much detail, and as was said, lighting is perfect.

    Great shot. Must be a beatiful thing when the northern lights are out.
