    Default Tomewin Rd

    On our drive on the weekend we used Tomewin Rd to cross from Qld into NSW. This road winds it's up over the border ranges, through rain-forest pockets.

    It was a dreary day I'm afraid so colour and light weren't great ...

    Very nice! Certainly looks coastal . I think the flowering shrubs scene , looks great with the cloudy sky .

    I like the contrast of light and dark areas in the first, Sunny days can be boring sometimes. Great capture!

    Very nice. You have a lot of very interesting vegetation in that area. That first picture makes me want to go for a drive down that road.

    Really like the lighting, and comp. on the first one MA, really draws the eye in. With bright sunlight the greenery would have looked more washed out IMO.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    Thanks Donna, K'bob, asnow and HBG!

    That first shot was one of the few where the light worked. The bursts of light among the shadows is what appealed to me. That road is way steeper than it looks in that photo though. It's about 18% gradient.
