Nice blues reflected in the water Iggy.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

HBG, it's been unseasonably warm, except for the past few days so ice is just starting to form. Iggy, this is lovely. very serene

Thank you, ladies. Yes, HBG, as Bambi mentioned, not much snow here. It's getting to be normal for Halifax in the last few years.

Take that rock away and you've got a rather boring shot there Iggy ... nice inclusion. I like the hint of ice forming on the water too. Looks like it was a very nice day.

Thanks, MA. When I saw that rock I was very happy, the lake looked kinda bland but the light was very nice and I needed a foreground element. The water was just starting to ice up... I doubt if it would have held a sparrow and since it's going to be +5C and sunny tomorrow I suspect that ice will disappear completely for another few days.
