    I like the cropping of the second version, but prefer the colours on the first one.

    Very nice shot though, definitely something I would hang on my wall!

    I like the contrast and colour of the first one more.

    I really like the way the narrowness of the second one seems to make the water go faster but I love the first one because it feels more relaxing and leisurely.

    thanks, everyone, for the comments! i'll probably wind up getting both of them printed... actually, i've already ordered a 24x36 on canvas of the first one, for a gallery i'm working with. the wider version i'll do as a 10x20 photo print and frame it for my own wall...
