    Default Morning at Senter Falls

I have no idea why they're called that, the brook is named Cold Brook.

Anyway, I've shot here a couple times before and came away with some terrific images, but I wasn't happy with this section of the falls. Today though the light sneaked through the trees and lit things quite beautifully and I found a composition that works.

Then I spent some time hunting among the rapids looking for some sun. It was tough to figure if I was standing on a snow-covered boulder, or just some snow between boulders. Who says photography isn't an adventure?

I'm working on a couple more views, but this is what is done so far. Seems like ages since I've shot anything decent.

Really like that first one WD. Looks like a nice place to just sit and reflect for a while.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

thanks hbg. It's a really dynamic place and very loud, but it helps drown out sounds of humanity - here's the top of the falls (from last year)

and here's the whole of the major part of the falls -

thanks guys. I'm working on one more, a view downstream w/the light through the trees. It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but it did light the boughs really nicely. Not sure it works though, so I'll put it up for opinions.

    Here it is -

I'm not sure it translates. The light is what attracted me, but it doesn't have any focus other than that. Not too much structure, you know. A bit disorganized.
