Thanks guys. I'm still above ground! It's mushroom city around here because of all the rain. I've never seen the red one before either.
I'm glad you like the leaf, Rich. I do too. The way the light hits the upper part is pretty fab.

thanks guys. It was Wide-Open Wednesday or something, so shallow DoF was the rule of the day. Mostly I was trying to emphasize the subject, but offer enough detail. the red mushroom shot was a challenge because I wanted a lot in focus in the fg, but the forest bg blurred a lot. so happy to have DoF preview!
