Sadie's Rose

It is a "Hope For Humanity Rose".



My beloved little parrotlet, Sadie, died in a terrible heart breaking accident this winter just before Christmas. She is buried in my flower garden and I planted this rose in her memory.

Thanks, Ed! You did not miss the post as it was such a traumatic thing. I have my little Cin Cin now though, and that helped me a lot to get over the loss. It was indirectly because of Sadie, that I got involved in photography on a more serious level. It all started with an inexpensive Olympus point and shoot that I purchased to take pictures of her. Funny how one small event leads to another and another. I miss that little bird.
