Default 'Twas a hot day (warning: butt crevas and nudity)

Was very hot last Sunday. So after a nice hike it was time to cool off. So my wife and I sought out our ol' swimming hole. It is a mountain stream, none too warm. But we did brave it and after a while you don't feel the cold ....

So I got out the neutral density filter and took a shot at the little stream .. against the sun, not a very nice way to get the silkiness, but what the heck ... besides, I had to test the water and take my shoes and socks off ... tripod in the water ...

So here you can see the swimming hole ... was quite inviting. Looked cool and refreshing ... mounted the camera on the tripod and ....

So now what? We needed proof that we actually went into the water. First time for the to use the interval timer on the camera ... shot an image every 30 seconds, but forgot to set the focus properly .... maybe this was best ... oh, and by the way, I was actually the first one in the water, took my wife a while to get in ....

But finally we managed to refrigerate ourselves ...

Greg: Janice would not allow me to put her butt on here ... or her mammalian protuberances either

It's lots of fun, since the camera keeps clicking away, and you can be yourself without having someone stand behind the damn thing .. then it would feel like someone is "watching" ... and I am sure Ed would not mind ... deep down we are all kids
