    Default My Little Friend

While in the woods the other day, I found this crawler on my backpack. Moved it to a mossy stump and brought out the trusty 90mm macro. Luckily it was a cooperative model.

It might be some kind of corn borer worm, but I don't know. It's about an inch long when not crawling. It is VERY grippy though; like velcro coming off my backpack.

This is FANTASTIC WD! taste is very personal....but for me, this is easily one of the strongest images of yours that I've seen. Double hi five here:

Awesome sharpness here, lovely comp, exposure, colour, eye guiding.
I could add one comment that would make this shot perfect to my eye, let me know if you are interested.

Not much more to be said from Marko's comments. Definitely one of, if not the best I have seen also.
(I think you caught what Marko was hinting at too)
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

yup just a bit of dodging/burning would be my final touch on this as u have guessed. Top left corner some dodge play and the brighter spot to the right of the 3 standing outside hairs some burn play.

Count me in for the comments as well, fantastic shot. Quite the "alien" feel with it. The detail is just amazing. Excellent all around.
