Default Black Head Cove - Fogo Island (Fisheye Captures)

My spine behaved itself today, allowing me to get up and about, and enjoy another gorgeous late summer day to the fullest! Here are a few shots from this afternoon. Though this lovely, secluded place is only a mile or so from our house, it was my first visit to Black Head Cove this year. Last fall's Hurricane Igor washed out the access road, but today I was finally able to get to the rocky shore for some beachcombing.

These three photos were taken with my Sony A550 and Samyang 8mm fisheye; currently my favourite landscape lens... go figure! They were shot handheld (f/8, ISO200) and have not been defished. By far, the best $300 I've ever spent!

Gorgeous shots. Lovin' that lens you are playing with. The best I have right now is 18mm (29mm full frame) but I'd love to play with a fisheye or even a really nice wide angle lens.
