Default Sunrise in colour and b/w

I shot this on the way to work the other morning and was not to happy with the colour version. Not much colour to work with in the pic what with the time of year, time of day and cloudy sky so I went to b/w. I like it better.

Both stunners but the B+W just pinches it for me. It has a special mood about it..

I like the b&w best too. I think it really emphasizes the drama of the sky and the course texture of the landscape. It creates a really gritty and rugged sort of mood. I think the color in the color version is too distracting and the warm tone softens the impact. Nice work!

Both are excellent! I don't know if I have a favourite. The b&w has more intensity, but the colours give the promise of a bit of warmth on a cool Northern Ontario morning.

I'm gonna be different, I like the colour version here because I love the muted colours of twilight
