Sorry for my long absence from the forum. Lots happened, and suffice it so say I am trying to be on here more often again.

Wife and I had a wonderful holiday on Maui. Went up to the dormant volcano there, Haleakala. What a superb place. Took a load of images, and as I was processing them, I tried out some play with positive/negative combinations. Tired to get a sunrise on the mountain, but the day we chose to get up at 4 and drive up there, the clouds blew in from the east (go figure) and we have no chance at a sunrise image. So I thought: fake it ....

The result sure is weird. Can't say it appeals to me but I can't deny it's cool just the same.

It`s the weird I was going for, MA ... If I could find a way to selectively change things and make it not so bleeding obvious where the border is, then I would be even happier. Next Year it is a live volcano, for sure!
