    I like the ripples too and the diagonal lines the clouds are making and the shadows on the water.

    The cloud shadows look great. Wow u must have been high up when u shot this.

    Lol, I never thought of it as being really high above the clouds; I was thinking that the clouds must be really low and close to the water.

    Wow, I'm surprised you guys dug up these old threads. Thanks for the comments though

    Kat, Dubai is beautiful because of the buildings (Atlantis Hotel is WOW) and man-made things (they need the tourism). I'll always prefer Abu Dhabi (the Capital of UAE, and the place I grew up ) because the city has more natural beauty. It's like a giant park O_O Fountains and trees everywhere. But Dubai is catered for the West and tourists so it's fairly modern.

    Did your sister-in-law see the Burj Al-Arab? Lol, well it's hard to miss I guess. Up close, I mean.
