    Nicely done, asnow... I like the vertical and horizontal lines.

    I too like the horizontal and vertical lines, the colours and also the extended depth of field

    I really like this image. Even though the grasses are front and centre, the view of, and the importance of the beach, water and sky isn't diminished in any way. Nicely done!

    Thanks Runmonty and Doug. Even though it is a simple picture there was something that really caught my eye. As you said it would be the combination of horizontal and vertical lines and the colours. The fact that the horizon is almost at the centre point did bother me a little bit but I I thinks it works. You don't always have to use the rule of thirds.

    very well composed Asnow. As was said, love the use of the lines and the depth that they represent here with the four horizontal lines with the grass foreground, the beach, the waves, and the horizon. Add all this with the vertical peekaboo grass, and, perfect.
    VERY well composed /exposed shot, and well seen.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
