    Default Not a Decent Sunset to be Had!

    All weekend it was hot and muggy at camp. The sunset was the same every nite...clear blue sky and not a cloud anywhere. Nice weather but not much for sunsets....coulda used at least a few clouds. Looked back in the other direction though and saw this looking down the beach.....

    Really nice! The bright colour of the boat in the foreground draws attention downwards while the first-quarter moon - tiny though it is - draws my focus upwards, and there's lots of interesting detail in between. Especially like how some of the maria ('seas') on the moon are visible, even with the wider-angle lens.

    Sometimes, looking the other way at sunset can lead to wonderfull shots....as you have discovered! Beautiful!

    at this point one would have to consider this a moon-rise. I like the ever so subtle glow on the trees from the receding sun...
