Lovely sets here Mbrager! My faves are
Shipwreck Beach
Lihue-Koloa Forest Reserve
I haven't been to Kauai, but I have been to big island - which is unfreakingbelievable. (I went to hawaii 2 years ago and visited oahu and maui and big island.....maui was the most beautiful, but by FAR, big island had the most impressive landscape and it was my favourite place and it would be the first or second place I would go if I ever get back there).very nice set, Mike. Makes me wonder if we (wife and I) should consider Kauai rather than the big island. Looks wonderful. But I sooooo wanna take pictures of a live volcano .... maybe the following year off to Kauai ...
If you can, and you are going there, imo, scrap Oahu (unless you are going to explore the parts of the island that nobody visits....because much of oahu is tourist hell in paradise imo) for Kauai.
Hope to see more shots mbrager - these are lovely.

Wow, very nice MBrager.
#1 Love the shadows/highlights from sun/cloud combo, along with the variance in colours
#2 Such perfect repetitive patterns from the roots leading the eye into the deep scene.
#4 is just the perfect one of the bunch. Not an overwhelming sunset, (but a beautiful one at that), that takes away from the main subject, which to me, is the power unleashed in that crashing wave. Perfect timing, and comp.
1st shot in second post is just beautiful lighting, and love the lines leading into the pic.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
Thanks for taking a look and commenting. When I go back over my pictures, it is like going back there for a moment.

Wonderful set, enjoyable to look at, thanks.
