    Default Dorothy at 6:46 am

Where else could you monkey around in the middle of the road with a tripod for almost half an hour at this hour?

As I am watching your trip from the other side of the world, I don't know a lot of the places you refer to. I just looked up Dorothy on Google maps. I am loving the way the streets are named - no getting lost in this place.

Beautiful photograph, Michael. I was wondering if maybe that was sage growing on the roadsides.

Beautiful. I like the contrast of the flat foreground, barren mountains and the one tall grain building (forget what you call it - is it elevator)

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, yes, Dorothy. Very well done, and obviously shot before the cows came home (they'd be on the road, no doubt). Love the shadow lines of the early morning, adds so much to the image. Sure hope you poked around in the elevator, Michael ... and drove up a little to visit the Atlas Coal Mine ... wonderful subject at that time of day as well ..

    +1 here Michael. Very nice.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
