    Default The paintbrush

Painting sunset by Justin Ryan sr, on Flickr

I was walking through town with my son on Saturday, right around sunset, and this paintbrush in carved into a signpost outside a manufacturing building. The art is long gone from the building, no longer producing whatever art products they may have produced, switching over to fasteners as long ago as I can remember. At least the signposts remain, in a beautiful patina....
Keep an eye on that 'Tools of the Trade' project thread in the assignments forum...I try to add new pictures often!

Nice tones, and good blur on the backround. Surprised the color on the posts is still intact.

Really like this JR. The Fall tones along with that shallow dof really make this one work.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
