Default nice day for a snow shoe

sorry that I've been away. It's not that I'm not taking photos but I'm not enjoying the photos I'm getting. Who knows why the funk starts. I probably just need a kick!

anyway, here's one I took after a snowfall. it was nice to get the snow shoes out.

I love it. Owned a Border Collie ... and love snow. Biased!

I like this Bambi. The newly fallen snow, the anticipation in the dogs expression with the stick at its feet, along with the curve in the path leading the eye into the pic wondering what more beautiful serene views lay ahead. Very well composed, and great timing with the dog.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

I do enjoy the snow, except when it gets too cold- same as when it's too hot.

    Lovely shot B...D'arcy looks happy.
I've had a funk for over a year now...hopefully in a month on a 5 day photo tour in the Rockies with Darwin Wiggett, I may find my way out of it...hoping for that anyhow....
Either that or I'm sorely hooped if I don't.

I love that path with tall trees either side. In adittion to what HBG said above, I also really like the shadows across the path giving soft texture to the snowy path.

This is definitely a picture you should enjoy. I know I do. Love it for all the reasons that HBG has given.
