Clear Skies

New Years Eve - at LAST clear skies. While at a local farm celebrating with friends, I took some time to take advantage of the dark sky. There is a lot going on in this sky. We have Jupiter snuggled up close to the horns of Taurus, Plieades star cluster, Orion trying to escape the light pollution from town.

Nice shot. I like the woodpile at the bottom....add to the overall feel bigtime.

Nice shot, tried shooting the night sky a few times, not too much luck though.

This is one where I think the light pollution actually adds to the effect. Nicely done Randitola.
