    Very nice sharp detail here Brad. #1, but in portrait orientation to include the full length of all the icicles would work so well imo.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    I second that. Portrait orientation would have been the preferred way.

    On my monitor some of the whites in the snow in shot 1 look nearly clipped, so i favour shot 2.
