Quite the adventure. I really like the last two in the first post, very clear close ups of the sulphur deposits. I came across this post Shooting Lava in Hawaii the other day and thought of you.

Thanks again for sharing these Matt.Very interesting shots, and thank you for the narrative/lesson.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
