And it won't go away this year either! There are some photos from the Smokies over the recent weeks. And more snow is falling right now with another blast headed this way next week. Not something we are used to down here this much!

Mortons Overlook in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, looking down into the valley where Gatlinburg, TN is located which is under the layer of clouds. This was actually after the sun went down and a full moon was illuminating the hoar frost awesomely. About a 30 sec exposure.

Mingo Falls in Cherokee,NC. There was more snow on the trail to it than on the falls.

Same Mill, only in January during a massive flood that wiped out a few of the roads we frequent. 12" of rain in 2 days. That much in snow would have been better!

All very nice but that last one needs to be framed and put on a wall.

And yet again. Another vote for #1 and last one, even though all are beautifully done.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Brilliant set. All are great, but I am going against the trend here and admit to having a preference for # 2. I love the colour of the tail lights and centre line marking against the beautiful blacks and whites of the that stunning road. I also like the line of tail-lights following the line of the fence (I guess there would be trouble if they didn't). The last one would be my second choice.
I welcome all critique and comments on any of my photos
