    Default Rainbow falls in Hilo

This is a 9 image HDR of rainbow falls. Unfortunately it was raining at the time, and only sporadic sunshine came forth. Sometimes you can capture three rainbows at these falls; well I was fortunate enough to get one. The river had been rather dried up for a while, which is really strange in a place that receives 196 inches of rain each year (that is over 16 freaking feet of rain!!!!!); it was even written up in the local news: Rainbow fall is dry. However, when we got there, it was raining buckets, and the river carried all sorts of silt; hence it is reddish.

The photo captures the intensity and power of the falls, well done.

I like the colour of the water. That sure is a lot of rain.

Thanks for the story with this shot. Amazing to think this could have been dry at all.

Just on the critique thing ... you've left a fair amount of artefacts in this shot .... the blotches in the rainbow, and also those 'rocks' (which aren't rocks but ghosting caused by shadows) part way down the falls. Do you know how to remove those?
