Cool, Jason. A challenging shot to compose and it looks like you did fairly well to get all the appropriate bits in there. I am interested in that white ball in the bottom centre though... it doesn't look like snow. Any idea?

Thanks, Iggy. I have to admit, I'm clueless about the white ball. Seems too perfectly round to be snow. I've zoomed in as far as I can and still have no idea.

No worries.I'm guessing you have a few other views of this building? I'd be interested to see what the other side looked like. I see an open field to the left and a valley to the right.
This is really the only side of the building that I got. I actually shot this from my car. I had my two-year old son with me, so as is often the case, I was pretty limited in how much I could get out and explore. It was quite a valley to the right--very steep after a while.

Nicely done, and like the pp here Jason.
We used to boil down sap every year on our other property until moving to the land of no Maples. :(
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
Nice shot. I really like the textures in the building and the trees. I will confess to having to google "sugarin'", but now am wiser to the ways of you folk in the north.
ah nice....used to do this, boil it down and drizzle over nice fresh snow for an all natural sno cone! (hard to find fresh snow nowadays though![]()
