    Default Sunrise on Block Island

Here's one that I took a while back--my wife and I went to Block Island for our anniversary, she was about 5 months pregnant with our son so we weren't able to do a whole lot of exploring. We did make it down to a beach late in the afternoon that we got there. I thought it would be a perfect spot to see the sun come up and get some shots. I was up at 4:30 AM to hike down there from where we were staying to be there before the sun came up. It was absolutely beautiful--quiet, peaceful and no one around. This was my favorite shot of the morning.

I love the colour of the light through the breaking wave.

Yes, I agree with Marko. A very nice story and a cool shot. Love the splash.
