Very vivid, and very nice light. Number 2 sort of reminds me of the movie, "What Dreams May Come."

Thanks Realist. It was the dappled light that attracted me to the second shot (although it took a while for the woman to move into it). I actually tried a HDR version of this, but the colours were just too punchy and I rejected.
I am not familiar with that movie and will have to check it out.
They're all really nice, but I like the second one best.
I love the second shot and the last shot! Both are beautiful!
Also, I must admit, when I read the thread title, I thought, " hmmm, autumnal color in June? He must have found some old shots from last year..."
But then I remembered that these interwebs are capable of connecting the whole world!

Keep an eye on that 'Tools of the Trade' project thread in the assignments forum...I try to add new pictures often!

I like every one of them for their distinct angles/comps.
Would love to see that second one with the green tree on right cropped out to make the whole scene about the interaction of the girl with the awe/splendour of the colours above her. (then frame it!)
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
Thanks so much HBG.
I know what you mean about the crop and the tree on the right . I struggled with it when I was doing initial processing, and tried a few different crops but couldn't get anything to work any better than this version. I tried vertical and square, and cropping right & top with the same 2 x 3 aspect, but couldn't get anything I liked. I decided to leave the tree on the right as a border. If you have a suggestion as to where to crop please feel free to let me know or have a play and post it back here. FYI the original version included the top of the tree, more of the tree on the right and just a little more at the bottom.
It is weird for me to be seeing the autumn colours too but then again I bet it's weird for you to see 'em when we're posting them!
That being said, they're lovely. Number 2 is my favourite with the suggested crop and the last one is just all kinds of awesome.
