One of the rest stops in the Sierras, California side. Several of them have some nice scenery around them. The other is well into Oregon. The weather was just strange clear into June. The end of May, and there was still noticeable snow on the mountains. Usually, that's only the highest elevations.

Threatening to rain, which it did off and on. Not usual weather for that time of year.

We were happy to see people alive and in relatively good health, runmonty. Some of the news earlier in the year was distressing, to say the least.
