THis version looks better! I like the comp.

But I have to ask, the image is less than 50K.

Did you upload a 50 k image? Because if you did, it's a bit small. 200-300k is more appropriate.

Just as a test, if you don't mind, can u upload a version in that rang?

Not familiar with aperture but I think it's a robust program. There should be a way to first resize the file first, THEN save it as a jpeg.

And when you save it / export as a jpeg, is there no slider to save the file at different qualities (Low, medium, high for example)?

I'd be very very surprised if this indeed the case, you should be able to do the resizing and exporting separately.

Here it is at 174K using the method you outlined above. By the way, Aperture is a apple program - similar to lightroom but less expensive.

The differences between the last 2 files are small (on other files where details in foreground midground and background are more visible the differences are far greater) but I can see additional detail in your last post - makes it the best of the bunch!

Yeah, not sure why the image file is so small. I edit RAW files in Aperture then export jpeg file to desktop where I resize to fit within the 1024 max width. The result of this one was around 50-60k. Usually after this process they are in the 200-300 range as you mentioned. Not sure how I could repost this image as you suggest with a higher file size while staying within the 1024 width.
