Another vote for #3 also, but all excellent again Matt.

As for Raptor I would lean more towards a Sharp-shinned Hawk. Total lack of moustache keeps me away from Merlin or Broad-wing. Also the lighter banding on the end of the squared tail. On top of all that they are approx the size of a Dove. You did say small???
