Ghosties

This is a discussion on Ghosties within the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) forums, part of the Photography & Fine art photography category; These are a couple of sea-caves on Ghosties Beach not too far away from where I live....

    I love these. In the first two, it seems like a very high dynamic range. Was there that much light there, or did you use a flash to get that detail in the rocks.

    No flash... just a manual HDR in that I manually blended several shots together rather than use HDR software which I don't like much. I prefer the effect to get the kind of comments you just made I.E. did I use flash

    I must go here! Looks like a blast to explore! Oh...and great set too by the way I like the colour in #4, but I like all the others as well.

    Very nicely done on all MA, but have to say #2 for me. So well composed with the slight angle to the cave entrance, and the footprints/tracks in the sand, with that nice light on them in the foreground, really adds to this.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
