    Default Deep In The Woods

Sorry haven't been on much. As many here know we have recently moved to a new area. Now living off-grid back in the bush with no nearby neighbours to speak of. The dark skies at night are amazing as no light pollution from any cities.
Just a couple iPhone shots from a hike back in the bush.

A large Beaver pond back approx 1 km in from our place.

A small unnamed lake approx 2km back in.

Another view of same lake. It is about 1.5-2 km long. Def have to get canoe in there.

.....and our new sets of wheels to get a little further back, when we don't feel like hiking.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

I so envy you. These are beautiful places. You guys must have ridden those little puppies hard, their tongues are dragging.

Cute one RM, but can't ride hard yet, just breaking them in.
Don't be so quick on the envious part. Remember we still have sections of snow from the record snowfall of just under 20 ft. PLUS, Blackfly, followed by mosquito, followed by Deer-fly, seasons, have yet to start.

Just beautiful. It is lovely countryside. Those are some fun toys too. Despite me being given credit for it, I must point out the tongue comment was Barefoots (I will confess to having a chuckle at it and wished it was mine)
I welcome all critique and comments on any of my photos

Well done for iPhone shots. Proves that it is not just the quality of the camera that makes the pictures.
    Pretty cool new toys.

What a place to live! Of course... now we want to see Beaver shots. Well, I do. We don't have Beavers here.

And yes, I can hear them in the bleachers... <snicker snicker he said beaver snicker snicker>

Thanks again to all. Def a fun trip and some beautiful landscape that needs a hike into with better equipment for sure.

Also an apology to BF for the mistaken identity. Def a cute joke for sure.
