    Default Where There's Smoke.......

    ....There's Fireworks!!!

Instead of the same old fireworks shots, I thought to get some distance across the lake and show the smoke to add a little more drama to the scene. Had amazing seats to the show as my parents cottage is right across the lake from them so got to shoot from our beach. Hope you like. Just a few of many I took.

These are all real nice shots HBG. I really like the last one because of the composition.

Nicely done. Third one here has it all: great color, reflections of the colors in the smoke, reflections off the water, and the tree across the lake is masking some of the light in a very cool way.

Just awesome! Hard to choose a favourite. But if forced to pick would choose 3 for the same reasons as Mike.

I like these too. The presence of the clouds, and the reflection in the water make these more appealing than a lot of fireworks shots you see. Nicely created
