Size: 306.0 KB This composite was prompted by Antiquetiger's challenge to redo an old image. I sort of liked the cloud and water shot although it's pretty "blah by itself, so I used it as a background to the shell and buddha. The shell was included to emphasize the buddha. Incidentally, I photographed the shell with my Epson scanner.

It is always fun to put these together, and you have done a commendable job Jim.

Not sure it is to my tastes (but am I often accused of having no taste, so don't be offended )
I welcome all critique and comments on any of my photos

Looks like good Postprocessing to my eye! Not sure it needed the shell though.

    Default Comp Revised

Size: 69.9 KB Thank you Runmonty, Marko. You are spot on Marko, as they say in your part of the woods the shell is perhaps "un peu trop". My usual style is shooting a la Cartier-Bresson, trying to snap at the right moment. However I do get mesmerized by the almost magical layered images Photoshop allows - whether the results are magical or have merit, that's another matter. It is always nice, actually in my view necessary, to receive comments - one should not edit one's own work. At this point in time I have't really decided whether the comp, either one, does anything for me. I will look at in a few weeks and keep or delete,

Cool. Kinda reminds me of the city of Braavos in Game of Thrones!
