Default Proud owner of the new Nikon 200-500

I had my eye on either the Tamron or the Sigma 150-600, but then Nikon came out with the 200-500. So somewhat less distance but apparently it was supposed to be dead sharp even wide open. Well, check for yourselves, but I am happy with the new glass. Actually affordable ...

By the way, the watermark on the images is a scan of my dad's logo, when he had the photo-studio/shop in Germany.... I am proud to continue in his footsteps.

Forgot to put this one with the images ...

    ISO 200, 500mm, f5.6, 1/200 handheld ... that VR is superb!

Congrats! All of the shots are nice, but that last one is super. Almost looks 3D with the creamy bokeh.

VERY nice, and VERY sharp also. Def a keeper. Love the detail in the rope and the windings on it.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
