    Some shots from a recent vacation trip to Vancouver Island.

    3.Docks (0.6 sec at f/4.0, ISO 320, 24mm)

    6. Black Oystercatchers (1/500 sec at f/5.6, ISO 320, 200 mm)

    Thanks for the comments. I suppose it was a touch of spring fever that put me back into shooting color digital. And leaving our very brown city for the much more spring like west coast. It was raining quite often on the coast, so safer to use the 7DII with weather sealed lenses. It was also fun to use both a film camera and my 7DII at the same time and exchange lenses occasionally. Of course, there's also color film, but it's C41 process and I would have to take it in for developing, versus the black and white films that I can process myself at home. Much more time consuming, cheaper, and fun.

    2. Across the Gulf (1/320 sec at f/11, ISO 160, 200 mm


    3. Beach Logs (Ilford HP5+)
