    Well it did strike but the rain that preceded the storm tonight made it impossible for us to get any lightning shots.

    However, I did manage to get these shots of the storm front beginning to roll over us ...

    Thanks Gem. You're not the first to say they like the Tree shot best so there must be something in it.

    I think I like the 3rd one best myself ... I like the cloud formations in there.

    I think it's cause the tree seems so tall in comparison to everything thing. Seems to be just LOOMING overthing! But at the same time, looks like it's going to fall over with the slightest push...lol, don't know if that made any sense.

    I like the second best. The third pictures I like because of the very nice sky-structure. The pictures have too much dark parts (my taste) - there should be seen more structures?
