    Smile A Couple of Gerberras

    Spent a couple of hours photographing flowers today trying to get out of the-will-winter-never-end blues. Ha! But then I radically changed their color.

    Raiven, another couple of great pics. Agree with the post so far that 2nd one is the pick of the 2. I do like the first one with the soft colours, but I am not sure that the negative space below the flower. I guess it is partly there be cause of the stem. I think if this was above the flower it may work a bit better???

    What have you used as the backgrounds in these? They work what ever it is.

    Thanks for the nice comments everyone.

    Lol, Antz, the background is my pilates mat but it is far enough away to not show texture.
    I changed the color palette on both flowers in Lightroom.

    Thank you everyone. Flower closeups are very gratifying to photograph.

    Here is one more. I was not sure about it at first but after desaturating it and adjusting the color I like the results.
