    Default Tree on Ravens Rocks

I am hesitant about posting this because I'm pretty certain not everyone will like the PP that ended up from the HDR treatment, but I love how it turned out so I thought I would share anyways!
Feel free to share your honest thought and opinions...I will still like it regardless!

Here's another version I did via tone mapping...I like it but I like the other one a bit better...I guess with the noise it just looks more foreboding and ominous!

My honest opinion of the 1st shot ... I like it ... as a sketch. That's what it now looks like to me.

In the 2nd shot ... did you have one the 3 (or more) shots you used that had a more blue sky? If so ... layer that under this image and then use a layer mask to blend the sky through to make it more realistic/pleasing.

I think that's what I like about it...that it doesn't look like a photo anymore. I'm sure for some people that's not their thing and that's completely okay!

I used 2 shots in this image MA...they were both cloudy images so I'm not sure why I ended up with blue here. I'm not too sure how to do what you suggested as I'm a real noob at PSE7. If you have some time and want to play around with it feel free.

    Ok ...

A bit tough without an original sky shot that was decent but I was able to use the replace colour function to enhance the blue and change it's shade a little.

I should add I dodged up the darker areas a bit and also selectively sharpened the cliff face and boosted the colours slightly.

Wow...MA...different shot altogether! You are the Master!
Well done! I guess I have to bite the bullet and learn more about PSE7!
My issue these days is time what with school starting next week and all.

To be honest, I like the original posted here. It is my favorite of the bunch. It has a great mood to it. Although, it does stray a bit from a "photograph" it still seems to give a much more detailed story and contains more emotion to it.

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!
