    You may want to increase the exposure range of your shots then Casil. HDR should include the sky detail as well ... unless it really was totally white in this case.

    I like this picture Casil. I agree with MA for the sky. Now that you say it is HDR I like it much more. This is the way HDR pleases me most, your picture looks so natural. Thanks for sharing it.

    How's this for sky?
    Went back and did a reshoot yesterday.....



    This moning though the sky was pretty grey and flat so this was all I managed.

    Good on you for going backand reshooting!! Gret or not ... this is a better attempt in my eyes because the sky isn't blown out. In fact it now has some character and adds to the overall picture nicely.
    You'll notice your snow (whites) are grey though which shows the white balance curve is off and this is evident in the tree trunks as well. Some extra PP can fix that though.
    Nice shot.

    This second shot (yes I realise this isn't the critique section ) would make a good orton subject I think
