47 thorns (at least) for 2 roses

This is a discussion on 47 thorns (at least) for 2 roses within the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) forums, part of the Photography & Fine art photography category; and the second one also in b/w version. Default 47 thorns (at least) for 2 roses

and the second one also in b/w version.
I apologize, but I'm going to be mad with this kind of bokeh, and then
I let see the subject less and less....
With this lens I'm more interested in relationship between subject and bokeh than in subject itself. The apparition of the subject has here (IMHO and not for my merit, be clear) with a strong and 3dimensional "icon" effect. This Leica-R APO-macro-Elmarit 100mm. f.2.8 is considered one of the best (or the best, by many experts) macro lens of all times......I know only other 3 other macro lenses and I've not an idea on this, I would to compare it with Hasselblad-Zeiss Makro Planar.

    All the best,
    Sandro

Hey we used to snap those thorns off when we were kids, lick them, and stick them on our noses before running around pretending we were a Rhinoceros

and thank you! Impressive, isn't it.
All of us tell "we are the artists, and we decide what and how", ok, but I must admit that in certain cases the lens (or the camera, the technology we use) guides my steps.
Probably because I'm poor as photographer, but it's so for me and this is not a problem for me, being more interested in "how" is an image than in "what" it is.
    Thank you!
